8:01 AM
The US university search process (part-2)

Thank you for reading the first part. Now I am going to tell you what to with your selected 15-20 universities. We have reached an advanced level now. So after doing a little bit of work, we will have our final university list (about 6-7 universities).
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Study in America

  • Go to your Princeton account again and click on the " visiting toolbar". Here you will find the email address of the university.
  • Write down the email address on a notebook.
  • Now look above on the page, you will find the website of the university after the university's name.
  • Go to the website directly and click on the admission toolbar.
  • Select International admission.
  • Check the TOEFL/ IELTS score requirement. You cannot apply if your TOEFL or IELTS score doesn't meet their criteria. If you want to apply to that university so badly, but do not have the criteria then write an email about your current state. Ask them what you should do now. ( Suppose the requirement is 100 for TOEFL and you have 98, but you want to apply so badly)
  • Usually, the university does not give any criteria for SAT score directly. So how can you know? I have given a point on the first part about the SAT average SAT score requirement just read that and have an idea about the score. Suppose, you have seen on www.princetonreview.com that average SAT score is 1200-1300, you have 1250. So you have a chance of admission.
  • Now, go to the cost of attendance (per year) bar and check with your previous listed information whether it's true or not.
  • Next, click on scholarship/ financial aid part. See the criteria for getting a scholarship for international students.
  • List all the information on your notebook. Now see in which universities you have higher chances of admission and lower chances.
  • Cross out the universities in which you have really low chances of admission.
  • You can keep one or two dream university on your list but you have to keep at least 6-7 universities in which you have higher chances.
  • Now, you have only about 7-8 universities on your list but you have to be confirmed by all the information.
  • To be confirmed you have to write emails to the universities and you have to ask only specific questions. Don't confuse them by asking random questions.
  • Wait until the replies the come and have patience.
  • After you have got the replies, it will be easier for you to decide and you can make your university list shorter than the previous one.
