How to write emails and ask questions properly to the universities

Hello, today I'm going to show the proper way of asking questions on the emails to the universities. Do not copy paste it, just have an idea and write clearly

How to write email

  • First, you have to write the email address of the university. 
example: 
To; xyz@gmail.com
  • Write the subject.  example:
Subject: inquiry for applying /request information 
  • Now write the body part properly and ask specific questions only. Remember, do not ask them absurd questions.
  • Greet them by saying hello /hi . The best way of approaching is writing " Dear Sir/Madam"
  • Tell them about your current state in one or two lines. 
Writing example: I am an international undergraduate student. I am going to apply in fall/spring/summer 2017 in  "X" department ( biology /math/ engineering etc)
  • Start asking questions politely. If you want to know about the scholarship criteria write, " could you please tell me about the scholarship for international students?'' (example)
  • If you have a question about the department ask them what you want to know exactly.
suppose you want to know about the labs just ask them about the lab facilities. The teacher and student ratio, average class size etc.
  • Don't forget to ask them about whether they have on campus job facility for international students or not.
  • At last, you have to say thank you / thank you in advance.
  • Then give space and write " sincerely", then name and address.
example :
Sincerely,

X city, Y country.
