Study in America-1

7:52 AM
Searching universities can be sometimes difficult for international undergraduate students because we usually do not know the proper procedure. I am going to navigate you about the exact process. The process will help you to make your "List Of Universities"
Study in America

  • First, you have to open accounts on several websites. These websites are http://www.cappex.org www.princetonreview.com, and https://www.internationalstudent.com
  • Then go to your cappex account dashboard.
  • Select the major/ subject you want to study as an example: physics, business administration, nursing etc.
  • Select the US states you like. Generally, California, Virginia, Missouri, NevadaTexas, Minnesota, Michigan, Illinois, Arkansas, MA  are best for the international students.
  • A lot of universities will come. Then choose a university that you like.
  • Go to http://www.google.com, write your university name+ us news (e.g  California state university us news ranking)  and see the college ranking.
  • Then go to your Princeton account and write the name on the college search option.
  • Suppose you have searched for California state university,  see the acceptance rate for students, see the GPA and SAT score requirements. If it suits your score, then click on academics toolbar. See the teacher-student ratio first ( if the ratio is small it will be better for you because you can get more interaction with your teacher.
  • See the most frequent class size and lab size. If it is 10-19 or 20-29 then it’s good ( I meant the small class size is better for learning)
  • See the major list and search whether your major is on the list or not.
  • See whether on-campus job interviews are available or not. Remember it is an important point for your future career.
  • Then go to the tuition toolbar. There is an important point called ” Financial aid provided to international students”  See they provide funds or not. If they provide funds it will be helpful for you.
  • See the tuition and board cost, calculate the approximate total cost. Think you can bear it or not.
  • Click on the campus life and see the area. ( rural area, suburban, large urban etc)
  • Remember list this information in a notepad.

OKAY, FIRST PART IS DONE NOW. DO THIS FOR AT LEAST 15-20 UNIVERSITIES AND GET A PROPER KNOWLEDGE. READ THE SECOND PART AFTER YOU HAVE DONE THESE THINGS. I WILL TELL YOU WHAT TO DO NEXT ON THE SECOND PART.
